ReplyDeleteCan please clarify this for me? Previously Prashantji has taught that the Manomaya Kosha is where the karmashaya is located. Also the varsanas of the many incarantions are located here.
In this talk you have said that the citta is the receptical of the varsanas.
Is the citta therefore located in Manomaya Kosha?
If so, does the mundane mind which is heavily fluctuating under the influence of the Gunas also in the Manomaya Kosha?
The term Citta includes samskaras and vasanas and therefore the manomaya-kosha, but also includes the "superficial mind", the feeling of I-ness, the faculty of discrimination and decision-making etc. It is not located in one specific place. Even the root of the indriyas are an aspect of the citta. It is the antah-karanam, the inner instrument, that is then overlaid/covered with all the life-experiences, samskaras, vasanas and karmashaya.
